Fast Food Punks are a curated boutique collection of only 1,000 hand drawn nft's.

This  is an inclusive collection and all Fast Food Punks were priced at  0.01ETH in the primary market to make it affordable for everyone to  collect!

This  project is inspired by the Bear Market Fast Food Meme & a parody of  the OG CryptoPunks and is NOT affiliated with Larva Labs.

On July 2nd, 2021 a small collection of about 20 Alt Punks were dropped into the OpenSea. They were a group of punks, wearing appropriate attire for fast food workers.

They were the embodiment of the Bear Market Fast Food Meme... The Fast Food Punks had been born.

During many weeks of late nights and long weekends each Fast Food Punk was made individually in a vector based app, exported and uploaded to OpenSea. There must have been an easier way to do this, but the creator of the Fast Food Punks was new to the NFT space and just jumped in using the apps he was familiar with to make the FFP's.

The Fast Food Punks were made to be affordable for everyone and thus were listed at 0.01ETH in the primary market. Over the next couple of months all 1,000 Fast Food Punks were individually created and uploaded individually 'by hand' and minted in a number of large and smaller stealth drops.

Then they started selling on the secondary market... and the rest is history.

The ethos of the Fast Food Punks is to enjoy life, keep things light and most of all - have fun.

NFT stand for non-fungible token. Non-fungible means not interchangeable, so the value is not a set price but varies depending on how much someone or the market deems it is worth. The token part represents how it is stored and sold through a blockchain which is like a digital ledger.

NFTs are a type of digital asset designed to show that someone has ownership of a unique virtual item, such as online pictures and videos.

OpenSea is the world's first & largest NFT marketplace.

How To Know It's an Original Fast Food Punk that was migrated:

  • The Fast Food Punks would state:  ERC 721 Contract Address: 0x51F437E4b25Ce7bC7D43c13BA1140Dd0e52151Cb

In general, the process would be:

  • You go to the online exchange and buy the NFT currency (normally Ethereum)
  • Find a NFT marketplace exchange that supports the NFT currency and exchange for the NFT
  • Store your NFT to a secured wallet

The Original OG Gen1 Collection is limited to 1,000 mints max. All have been minted, the secondary market is the only way to obtain a 1st Generation FFPs for your collection.  1st Generation holders will always have priority treatment on future mints and projects.

The first step in your NFT journey is to create a digital wallet where you'll securely store the crypto currency that is used to buy, sell, and create NFTs. The wallet also allows you to safely sign in and create accounts on NFT marketplaces.

  • Metamask
  • Coinbase Wallet (NOT THE EXCHANGE) - YOU WILL LOSE YOUR NFT IF SENT TO YOUR EXCHANGE WALLET.

So why migrate?

Some of you may know that the Fast Food Punks were minted using Opensea contract ERC1155.

There's a long-detailed story behind why we are migrating but here is a summary:

  • The new contract is built to ERC721 standard meaning NFTS can be viewed in wallets -
  • We could not add metadata (properties) to the old collection once minted, ERC721 version has this added. We can ensure metadata is kept decentralized by IPFS and have the ability to freeze it.
  • An issue faced with ERC1155 is that it is hard to trace ownership, ERC721     gives clearer IP rights.
  • Keep in mind that a lot of blockchain enthusiasts respect the proof of ownership of a token over most things.

Benefits of the ERC721 Fast Food Punks:

  1. Royalties have been reduced to 2.5%.
  2. Ownership of one FFP will grant two whitelist spots for Gen 2.
  3. Note: Burgers will grant one whitelist spot for Gen 2.
  4. Properties are added to the punks with all attributes.
  5. Now filters can be applied in Opensea when searching.
  6. Ownership of one FFP will grant access to the upcoming Migration Punknival.
  7. Future benefits for ERC721 version holders.
  8. We have also made a burger game for everyone to enjoy! May want to hone your burger making skills!

What is the process?

  1. Owners will need relinquish ownership of the original fast food punk token (NFT) and this will then be burnt.
  2. Once confirmed the owner can now mint the ERC721 version.
  3. You cannot delete something from the blockchain, once an NFT minted, it is considered immutable.
  4. When burning an NFT you are sending it to a blackhole address that is inaccessible to anyone.
  5. The NFT will still exist, but no one can access it to transfer or sell - You can see this on the punks in the old collection.
  6. The owner will be "BurnAddress" follow that address and you find a graveyard of NFT's. This is the reason the number of assets will not reduce in that collection as they are burned, 1.0K will always remain.
  7. Regarding the new collection, trait % will not be fully represented on Opensea until all punks migrate over to the new contract. We will be looking into Rarity Tools and Rarity Sniper rankings for the new ERC721 collection.

MIGRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • There are a few things to check before you migrate your punk.
  • Make sure you have ETH on the wallet.
  • If using a hardware wallet, please ensure all software is up-to date.
  • Only metamask wallets are supported currently (support for other wallets are being added).
  • Have your punk numbers accessible as you will need them in the migration process.

Head over to https://migration.fastfoodpunks.com/

  1. Read the minting page.
  2. The first page will ask you to connect your wallet.
  3. Next you will be prompted to approve the first stage of the migration (this is a small tx fee - each wallet is required to do this once).
  4. Once this is complete you will see an input box for your punk number.
  5. Enter the punk number you wish to migrate and complete the transaction.
  6. Your old punk is burned and you receive an ERC721 version in its place.
